The Great Prayer

I titled this piece The Great Prayer, created using undyed flax, because its making required a long and meditative process. Like Penelope, I revisited it countless times, yet I never grew tired of it. I’m happy with the result: the cocoon shape as well as the curves and hollows of the sculpture highlight the natural variations in the flax’s color.
Today, this piece is part of a private collection in Italy.
