“Le Mur” returns for a second season at the Oléron cabin, Just Across from New York, and we would first like to thank Raphaëlle and Olivier DiQuirico for their warm welcome and trust.
Aude Franjou, this our guest in July this year, has known Oléron for a long time: she has a family home in one of its typical villages, which she visits every year. Through her multifaceted and singular work, she maintains a fascinating dialogue with the island—one that resonates deeply with her raw, visceral emotions, expressed at the very edge of skin, at the very edge of thread.
She will present in Saint-Denis d’Oléron a work-in-progress—maritime in its first impression, yet far surpassing this obvious association—which she herself refers to as “Corals.”
Le Mur (Oléron, just across from New York) invites Aude Franjou from July 17 to 31, 2022.
Aude Franjou will be in conversation with Laurent Herrou on Sunday, July 17, 2022, from 6 p.m. at the Oléron cabin, just across from New York (Saint-Denis d’Oléron), on the occasion of the opening night.
