The textile museum in Cholet, once a laundry, is now a place where the gestures of yesteryears are displayed and taught. I had the honor of presenting my work there through the installation “Fibrescences.”
The Fibrescences installation at the Musée du Textile in Cholet is without a doubt the project I’m most proud of. It consisted of three panels, each displaying a rich variation of red. The shapes seemed to complement each other. For the first time, I saw myself as an artist. I expressed a unique spirit and engaged in formal research, brought my own technique, sculpted linen to the next level. I believe that was the first time I truly recognized the significance of my work.
